To support individuals process and repair their trauma we use a trauma informed modality called Internal Family Systems Therapy. This method attempts to train the conscious mind to learn about our own trauma, Most of the time we operate within our subconscious mind on auto pilot. This works for day to day tasks like driving, cleaning, working etc but it can be harmful if we have automatic negative thoughts that we are unaware of. IFS or Internal Family Systems helps us re-frame our thoughts that are disturbing, harmful and counter-productive.
All humans go through sad and depressing times. Prolonged sadness and apathy however may need a therapeutic intervention to help the individuals find some useful strategies. A system for thinking is used which means understanding our trauma, our sadness and guides us to look through a different lens about specific situations. Improvements can happen rapidly through specific methodologies however long term depression normally takes some months or to re-wire our neural pathways and learn about the way we have been operating has been harmful.

I am also a trained life coach however most of my work in this area centres around psycho-education for individuals. People who simly want an experienced 3rd party to help them plan and implement steps towards a goal. Any personal and professional goal needs outside help and input.
Understanding our anger is the first step towards managing and controlling anger. We all have anger inside of us however we need to strive to express anger in healthy ways instead of toxic anger that hurst others. We aim to identify the root causes of your anger, develop coping skills, and improve your relationships with others.

I work on Thursday only. Starting at 7am and last appointment will be at 6pm. I work on Saturdays once a month to help those clients who cannot attend on Thursdays.
I am a certified counsellor who is a sole trader that works out of a wonderful Wellness Centre called Thrive Wellness Hub. This is a beautiful space with soft lighting, gentle music and very welcoming staff will immediately have you relaxed and ready for your session. We have many other types of therapists in this practice. We have Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy plus a number of medical Herbalists.
Currently I am available for bookings on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7am till 6pm. Most of my later and earliest bookings are booked out two weeks in advance so if you wish to book it is best to book early.
Remember that a booked session is charged in full IF we don't receive at least 24 hours notice. So cancellations are not a problem however if you cancel on the day of your booking it will mean another person has not been able to book on that day.
